My interest in art is far away from
landscapes as such. I am interested in the expression of people. I
feel I have created modern icons: they are fun and meaningful. I see
my art as a tonic, a medicine that works on visual response. It gives
pleasure with its colour and messages.

I create figurative landscapes. They
reach out to every person with their quirky pop art sense.
In 1992 I began selling my art at the
weekend cultural markets in Perth. I've recently restored and painted
500 year old icons in Churches located on the island of Corfu, Greece
as a gift for the local people. I returned to Australia in 1998 and
soon after relocated to the Fremantle markets where I was selling my
art work prints and other pieces such as handpainted frames and
furniture every weekend. After working on large life-size pieces in
Greece I felt compelled to have an exhibtion and present myself as a
painter. I want people to recognise me as who I really am, not who
they think I am. "The Goddess Speaks" is an extension of myself and
every other womans dreams and fantasies. Its about exploring
womanhood.
